The Conyers Assembly hall was designed in 3D CAD from 2D structural drawings and 2D single line mechanical drawings. The customer didn’t have to cut a single item and only had to order 2 additional fittings due to the structural contractor putting a beam in the wrong place. Other than that mishap, the contractor was able to install all of the duct without issue. If this had been built directly from the plans, there would have been many field modifications or extra items needed to be built.
